This is the most honest and careful anaylsis any customer has ever sent. He was NOT given anything free or paid in any way, but it is awesome to read if you like microfiber towels. We left the competition's links and sites in the email in order to keep it honest and fair.

Hello Rob. This is John from Wisconsin,

I ordered one of your WCT001 towel about a week ago. You wanted a response from me on how this towel performed, so that's why I'm writing. My intent is to be totally honest with no bias. I say that because during the years I was buying those green towels from you, you had excellent service, and you gave me a break at times. Remember, I used to order those 50 packs about once every 3 months or so. I also talked to you over the phone a few times during that era. So, what I'm trying to say is, you've always been a cool guy.

There's a lot of reading here, so take your time. My overall thoughts on this towel are this: I like this towel better than the green ones you used to stock. This towel is right on par with some others out there selling for twice as much. The towel is plush, but it isn't too plush that it feels awkward. It's been my findings that you don't want too plush of a towel for polish or wax removal because there's too much cushion/pad. Too much cushion means less removal force. I'm not one for buying different types of towels for different purposes. I like to use 1 towel for everything such as quick detailing, dusting, and polish/wax removal. Your towel fits the bill and I would definitely buy more. The suede edging is nice also. A lot of times I'll buy microfiber from a reputable source, but it has a stitched border. After a few washes and being thrown in the dryer, the stitching starts to unravel a bit. So, overall it's a nice towel that I would feel comfortable using. Here is a list of towels I have bought inthe past and how they compare to your WCT001:

This towel has a very dense/low nap to it. Your towel blows this one away. I wouldn't waste my money on these. http://www.properautocare.com/vipmicdetclo.html

This towel is a total waste for the money. Not real plush and totally overpriced. Your towel blows this one away no problem. http://www.autogeek.net/pincobdetclo.html

Ranney sells some good stuff. These are good towels and I would buy them again, however, they are $3.50 a pop. They come tagless with a silk border, not suede. They are just a tad more thicker than yours, but that's because they have a dual pile weave. One side is more plush than the other. If Ranney would sell this towel for the same price as yours, I would probably buy Ranney's, but that's not 100%. His towel has a slight edge because it's tagless. So, if I had to pick between Ranney and you as is stands right now with prices, it's you. http://www.pakshak.com/ultra-micro-fiber-towel-16x16-1.html

This is where it's going to get interesting. Chemical guys carries some good towels also. You'll notice these towels come out to be about $2.08 a popfor a pack of 12. However, that's a sale price. These come tagless, which is a plus. They also have a dual pile weave and are thicker than yours. They are also just a tad softer than yours also. The only down side, if you can call it this, is they seem to be just a tad too flimsy. More than yours. At times when I use these for quick detailing, the towel willfold/buckle or want to roll out of my hand. It's hard to explain, buthopefully you'll know whatI mean. I think it has to do with the softness of the towel. The more soft/puffy it is, the more flimsy. If I had to pick between these and yours given the prices right now, it's a draw. If these towels sold for the regular price, you would win hands down. http://www.chemicalguys.com/Microfiber_towel_p/mic_333_12g.htm

These towels from chemical guys have a silk border. They come out to be about $3.15 a piece for a 6 pack. Again, that's a sale price. They also have a 12 pack which is selling for $17.95, which comes out to be about $1.50 a towel. Again, a sale price. These are pretty much identical to yours except these have a silk border, not suede. These also have a dual pile. (different plushness on each side) Plushness is about the same as yours, with an ever so slight edge to the chemical guys towel. They come with tags. Again, if I had to pick between these and yours given the prices currently, it's a draw. If these sold for the regular price, once again you're the winner. http://www.chemicalguys.com/SUPER_TOWEL_microfiber_towels_car_care_productsSU_p/mic_506_06.htm http://www.chemicalguys.com/SUPER_TOWEL_microfiber_towels_car_care_products_p/mic_506_12.htm That was my review of your 16 by 16 towel.

Congrads on being part of the air force one detailing team. Very cool. I watchedthe video with you being interviewed. That must have been a real treat. What an honor.
